About the Illustrator
 

Illustrator Cindy Coleman was born and raised in Old Mines, MO.  She's the daughter of Theresa (Pashia) Wickerham and Roger Missey, and has an older brother and three younger sisters.

She obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Illustration from Ringling School of Art & Design in Sarasota, Fla., in 1999. After graduating she worked at CNN Design in Atlanta, Ga., where she created on-air graphics.

In the fall of 2006 Cindy and her husband Ken left the big city and headed west to Durango, Colo.

Today, Cindy earns her living as a freelance designer and illustrator. You can see her work at www.duckgirlart.com.

“Mommy, Do You Love Me?” is Cindy’s first venture as a children’s book illustrator.

Cindy and her husband Ken spend their free time traveling, hiking, camping, and living in the mountains.
